| Description | A young woman enjoys the view from the ramparts of the fort Loch Guidel. The Military Construction built from 1756, is one of the defenses away from the port of Lorient. The fort is surrounded by a wide moat and a wall pierced with weep holes. Access is controlled by a drawbridge. Inside, two buildings for the troops and ammunition..The fort of the Loch is the subject of a registration as a historic monument since 1 June 1960. |
